Raise money for Habitat

One of the most powerful ways you can help Habitat advance our mission is by creating a fundraising campaign. It's easy to set up and invite friends and family to support your goal! You can start a fundraiser for your birthday, wedding or housewarming, or get creative like organize a gaming tournament or host a tent-a-thon. Fundraisers are also a great way to build support for a team build day, or just to bring some extra impact with you to a volunteer shift. If a campaign feels like too much for you, you can always send supporters to habitatcd.org/give to give in honor of you.


Facebook fundraisers

You can easily set up a fundraiser for Habitat through your Facebook account. Go to our Facebook fundraiser page. There, you can choose your goal, get the word out and build support. Need ideas?

You can also raise money using the donation sticker in your Instagram stories! Encourage your friends to allow Facebook to share their name and email with us, so we can keep them updated on the impact of their donation!

Step 1: Set up your campaign

Learn about why housing matters and decide to help.

It only takes a minute to set up a campaign, and you can even choose to login with Facebook. Decide what to do. Pick a name. Pick a photo. And just like that, you’ll be ready to start raising money to help build homes and strengthen neighborhoods.

Tell your friends

Step 2: Spread the word

Spread the word about your fundraiser and ask your friends to support you.

Once your campaign is set up, tell everyone about it. You can even share your fundraiser right to social media. The more people you tell, the quicker you’ll reach your goal. Then sit back and watch the donations to build homes and strengthen neighborhoods roll in. Tag us at @habitatcd_org!

See exactly where your money goes and who it helps.

After your campaign is over, we’ll report back to you with info about how you helped bring us closer to our vision of a world—and a community—where everyone has a decent place to live.

Need help raising money and support for your team’s build day? Start a team build fundraiser to get the ball rolling on securing your team build! PS If your team plans on volunteering at the ReStore, you can still fundraise for extra impact using the team build fundraiser!

You can also host dress-down days, an office garage sale, bake sales, bottle drives, etc. to help meet your goal. See more ideas >>
