Every Habitat home built is a testament to neighborly love and generosity.
Whether or not we share a zip code, we are all neighbors. And every new Habitat homeowner volunteers hundreds of hours of sweat equity toward the purchase of their first home. Help a new homeowner celebrate this milestone by signing our Virtual 2x4 below or by writing them a “Welcome Home” card.

When volunteers build with us, they sometimes have the opportunity to write messages on the 2x4s of a home – offering hope and encouragement to Habitat homebuyers. After all, every Habitat home is built with neighborly love! Homebuyers love reading these messages and remembering all of the people who supported their dream of homeownership.
We’ll transfer these messages of hope to our current construction site, ensuring that your encouragement is literally built into a new house!
Send a card
Give a new homeowner a warm welcome! Send the card to office or drop it off to us, and we’ll ensure it is passed along to new Habitat homeowners. This is a great activity to get kids involved, too. Mail cards to:

Need help thinking of what to say? A simple, “Congratulations” or “Welcome Home" will do. It’s the thought that counts!
Please do not send gift cards, coupons, or money with your cards. Your card will be distributed to new homeowners on a rolling basis through our homeowner services team. To protect your contact information, only your card (without the envelope) will be passed along to a homeowner.
