New ReStore Now Open

After 10 great years at 70 Fuller, the Habitat Capital District’s ReStore has packed up and moved to a new ReStore location right across the street, 71 Fuller Rd, Albany. The new storefront provides more parking, a fully climate-controlled space, and more convenient donation drop-off accessibility. Newly renovated and spanning 14,000 sq ft, the affordable home improvement center will offer a variety of new and used household goods including furniture, building materials, appliances, and more.

"We can't wait to share our new home with our loyal customers and donors. The ReStore is such an amazing resource for the community--for our customers, for our donors, and for the environment.  It is so rewarding to know that our work here helps people find a new home for their valuable often sentimental possessions, provides an affordable market for gently used items, and keeps excess waste out of area landfills," said ReStore Director Dave Harrison.

The ReStore also announced new weekly specials including Customer Appreciation Day every Thursday with 20% off all donated merchandise and Markdown Day every Friday with reduced prices on select inventory.

On June 24th, Habitat celebrated with a ribbon cutting ceremony and great deals all day. Speaking a the ceremony was ReStore Director Dave Harrison, Habitat’s Executive Director Christine Schudde, Capital Region Chamber Ambassador Alan Baker, State Senator Jake Ashby, and Town of Colonie Councilman Jeff Madden.

Check out the new location for great deals and new inventory everyday!
