Owens Corning Roof Deployment Project Gives Back to U.S. Military Veterans

Freddy Jimenezdejesus, a U.S. Marine Corps veteran, received a new roof on Thursday, September 7, 2023, from Pinnacle Roofing, an Owens Corning Platinum Roofing Contractor, as part of the Owens Corning Roof Deployment Project.

Through a partnership with Habitat for Humanity Capital District, Freddy Jimenezdejesus was selected and approved as the recipient for the roof replacement. This marks Habitat for Humanity Capital District’s first partnership with the Owens Corning Roof Deployment Project.

The Owens Corning Roof Deployment Project is a nationwide effort to show gratitude and honor the veterans who served our country and the families who support them. Since the inception of this program in 2016, more than 475 military members have received new roofs.

Pinnacle Roofing provided a new roof for U.S. Marine Corps veteran Freddy Jimenezdejesus, as part of the Owens Corning Roof Deployment Project. The Owens Corning Foundation donated roofing materials and Pinnacle Roofing donated the labor. AllPhase Masonry and Chimney Service donated the labor for the chimney and Sameday Seamless Gutters donated and installed new gutters. Habitat's role was to qualify the household and coordinate initial meetings and inspections.
